Sick Again

Alright, so I'm feeling a bit sick and I got nothing better to do besides blog and tell yallz about all the awesome shit that's going down.

I just watched half of Gran Torino. Good movie so far. I was under the impression that it was an action movie though, for some reason. So yeah, Clint Eastwood is just like a total badass. 'Nuff said.

Also the other day I watched The Royal Tenenbaums for the first time in forever. That movie's hilarious. Although it was a bit strange seeing Luke Wilson actually act, instead of just being that guy who roasts Verizon on the AT&T commercials.

I also watched Fargo a few nights ago. That's seriously one of the greatest movies of all time. Simply hilarious. Also, the only movie I've ever seen where there's an Asian with a Minnesota accent.

Yesterday I listened to some Nigerian music--yes, Nigerian. The guy's named Fela Kuti, and he's awesome. It's basically this awesome combination of African music, jazz, and funk. Badass. The album's called Zombie if you wanna check it out.

Oh, my good friend AJ (not the one at Clark) got back from a school trip to China this weekend. He got me a nunchuck. I am going to kill people with it...so don't mess with me. Also he got me the Little Red Book (Quotations from Chairman Mao). It's in Chinese though, so it can't really convert me to communism. Sadness.

I think that's about it. Yep, that's all that's really been going down in funky town. Oh, and since I know you were wondering, I'm not that sick. Just a little cough. I should be at school tomorrow while all you people are doing your fun intersessions and I'm in Service. Bleh.

Oh well. Always next year! :D

So, here goes.

I figure it'll be good to get into this whole blogging thing. It'll be a good way to organize my thoughts, as well as anything else I might want to write down like my reviews and stories and intentionally bad poems and whetever else I may want to post up here. So yeah, if you follow this blog you should expect to be notified for all kinds of random shit that you probably don't even want to hear about. Oh well. Maybe I should make some other blogs but for now I'm just gonna put everything on here like the disoranized slob that I am. Hell, maybe this'll make me less of a disorganized slob.
